San Pablo City Water District Celebrates 50 Years of Service
The San Pablo City Water District (SPCWD) marked a significant milestone as it celebrates its 50th year of providing potable, adequate and affordable water supply in the entire City of San Pablo with the theme, “50 Years of Service: Sustaining Our Legacy, Delivering Water With Care”.
The kickoff ceremony held on March 04, 2024 at the SPCWD Main Office, Maharlika Highway, Brgy. San Gabriel, San Pablo City, was a momentous occasion attended by the SPCWD’S pioneers of progress; the very first General Manager, Engr. Bernardo C. Adriano Jr. and the very first Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Eduardo L. Constantino, together with former Board Chairmen, Dra. Elma O. Paraiso and Mrs. Lerma S. Prudente. The event was also attended by its partners and stakeholders from the city government and private entities.
The presence of founding members has made this celebration more important for SPCWD. Fifty years later, the same people who attended the inauguration and the unveiling of the SPCWD's legacy marker were still able to witness the unveiling of another SPCWD legacy marker in its new office.
