The San Pablo City Water District (SPCWD), in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), conducted the Basic Fire Safety and Emergency Medical Training Course on September 22–23, 2026 at the SPCWD-RTC, Main Office, San Pablo City.

The two-day training equipped participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire safety, emergency response, and medical assistance. Through lectures, assessments, and hands-on simulation activities, participants were able to strengthen their preparedness and apply appropriate response procedures in emergency situations.

The activity also provided participants with practical experience in handling emergency situations and emphasized the importance of knowing how to respond appropriately when unexpected incidents occur. As emergencies can happen without warning, being equipped with the right knowledge and skills can help individuals take appropriate action and protect themselves and others during critical situations.

Through this initiative, SPCWD and BFP provide opportunities for capacity-building that contribute to a safer and more prepared workplace and community.

SPCWD extends its appreciation to the members of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), headed by Acting City Fire Marshal FSINSP Randy B. Baconawa, for their valuable support, expertise, and commitment in making the training a meaningful and worthwhile learning experience for the participants.
